New Year New You?

I've never been one for making new year's resolutions, it feels like too much pressure.

I much prefer to focus on a particular change I want to make and take it one day at a time.

Diet and exercise feature often in new year's resolutions lists and that it great, making changes to live a healthier lifestyle is always a good idea.  Kitchens will be full of healthy food and the gyms will be packed, but we all know that doesn't last.  Sometimes going full on doesn't work and you end up giving in and reaching for the leftover chocolates!  You know what, that's ok, going cold turkey isn't always the best way.  Even if you do have a healthy January, what about February, March and so on?  The key to a healthier lifestyle is making positive changes that are achieveable and sustainable for you.  Don't focus on the negative, "I will give up chocolate", turn your goal into a positive, "I'll add more fruit and veg into my diet". 

Build small achievable goals into your daily routine and you'll soon have the kind of healthy lifestyle you want.
